Jakarta MRT Train will Be Shipped in Early 2018

The shipment will be done gradually from end of February to March 2018
PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta is targeting to send one set of train in early 2018.
PT. MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar said one set of train would be sent to Jakarta by sea shipment. One set of train consists of six cars that can transport up to 1,900 passengers.

About rolling stocks, he added, 96 units have been made by Japan Company, and will be tested in Japan this month. Those are realized through employment contract of CP-108 (Sumitomo Corporation) in the amount of Rp 145.5 billion.
Rolling stock is made from stainless steel material with blue modern package in most of train surface.
"Rolling stock uses a well quality material," he explained.
